Who runs it?

Summer Camp is run by Hoylake Evangelical Church, and each year Darren and a number of children and young people from Bromborough go along too.

Who is it for?

Anyone can go, whether they go to church or not. You just need to be aged 8 to 18.

Where do you camp?

We don’t actually “camp” in tents, but rather we stay at Quinta Hall Christian Centre near Oswestry so we’re all safe and sound whatever the weather.

When is it?

Summer Camp dates for 2020 are Monday 27th to Friday 31st July.

How much is it?

The 2020 price is £195 (unchanged from 2019) which covers all activities and transport. Campers usually take some pocket money too.

What do you do?

The programme changes slightly each year, but in 2019 we had slip & slide, ice-skating, an Aladdin-theme evening of games, camp fire, water games, low ropes, field games, frisbee golf, human hungry hippos, and more. Our mornings have lots of team games and brilliant Bible stories.

Campers also have an optional prayer time in the evening if they wish. There are activities all day long, often with a choice of things to do.

On Friday we pack up, load up the bus, and set off to West Midlands Safari Park for the day. We arrive back at Bromborough and Hoylake some time around 8:00-8:30 on Friday evening.

How do I book?

Booking forms are available from Hoylake or Bromborough (just ask). Payment can be made in full, or in instalments by Standing Order direct to Hoylake Church (the bank details are on the booking form).
