Some of the men of the church went for a bit of a walk up Y Garn.
Y Garn is a peak in Snowdonia, looking down over the Ogwen Valley and the A5 on one side, with Snowdon and Llanberis on the other.
As the 10th highest peak in Wales it was a bit of a trek, of course. But the views from the top had the whole team stopping periodically simply to gaze and enjoy.
Needless to say, there were other times when they stopped simply to get their breath back.
Everything went perfectly except, perhaps, for the one who had to turn back early due to disintegrating shoes!
