The sun shone beautifully for our family walk!
We met up at the Old Baths Car Park in Parkgate (by the Boat House), then walk along the Wirral Way ending up at the South side of Parkgate. Then we had lunch overlooking the Dee Estuary and North Wales before walking back to our cars.
Needless to say, we enjoyed our chip-shop and ice-cream takeaways. Well, you can’t go to Parkgate and not enjoy its famous takeaways, can you?!
The total distance covered was around 2.5 miles.
