Bromborough Evangelical Church is now affiliated to FIEC, the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches.
The FIEC is not a denomination but rather a network of independent churches with common theological, spiritual, and ethical understanding.
By joining together in a national fellowship, we’re able to collaborate on the extension of the Kingdom of God across the country. It also enables us to publicly nail our colours to the mast on certain hot topics of the day. These include things like women in ministry and sexual ethics (see, e.g., the FIEC ethos statements).
We have long been an “FIEC-kind-of-church” so it’s lovely to be able to acknowledge that formally by becoming affiliated to FIEC.
