Welcome! Bromborough Evangelical Church is the church that meets at Matheson Memorial Hall. We’ve been in Bromborough, Wirral for over a hundred years, and in Matheson Memorial Hall since 1936.
- We’re called “Bromborough” because that’s where we are!
- We’re called “Evangelical” because we trust the Bible – everything we do is based on it.
- We’re called “Church” as a group of people, not a building!
You can read about beliefs in our “What we believe” article – we’re mainstream, Bible-based Christians.
Click here to see introductions to some of us, as well as more information about what we believe.
You’ll be welcome at any of our gatherings – just turn up.
Many of us live within walking distance of the church building at Croft Lane, Bromborough, while others travel further afield from Wallasey, Moreton, Parkgate, Woodchurch – right across the Wirral. So, whether you’re local (such as Bebington, Port Sunlight, or Eastham) or from a little further afield (like Heswall, Neston, Birkenhead, Ellesmere Port or Chester), you’ll be at home here.
Whatever age or background you are, you’ll find a warm welcome with us.
