Tots / Family Walk & Picnic 11:30
Our wonderful Tots group takes a break in school holidays, but we sometimes go for a walk to Eastham Woods.
On Wednesday 13th April, the sun shone for us and we had a lovely stroll through the woods and a gorgeous singing time in the open air.
Good Friday Communion Service 10:30-11:30
Easter Sunday is glorious, but you can only really get there via the sombre reflections of Christ’s great sacrifice on Good Friday.
We remembered his death particularly and our own sinfulness for which he died. All Christians shared in the Lord’s Table / Communion too.
As some of us couldn’t attend in person, this service was streamed live on YouTube.
Easter Saturday Sparks 10:30-12:00
Saturday Sparks is new for us in 2022 and it’s a real hit with lots of local families, many of whom are not regular Sunday worshippers with us. We love it.
Our Easter Saturday Sparks has loads of Easter crafts, activities, an Easter egg hunt, plus singing and a re-telling of the Easter story.
It’s always free, so if you have a young family join us on the 3rd Saturday of every month!
Easter Sunday Family Service 10:30-11:30
Each Sunday morning, our children usually take part in our wonderful Sunday Sparks while the adults worship in the main room. Occasionally, we all stay together for a Family Service.
So, on Easter Sunday, we have crafts to do from 10:00 and the service started at 10:30. We sang hymns and songs and looked at the Easter story from Psalm 118. Amazing stuff!
Easter Sunday Evening Service 4:30-5:30
In our evening service we looked at some amazing words from John’s gospel. We thought about who Jesus is from what he said about himself. It stretched minds and your hearts.
