We had the most lovely time at the end of November at our Christmas Wreath-making event.
It was the first time we’d hosted the event but it was clear that it will become a firm fixture in our diaries!
This was just for the ladies! The men and children were all left at home – who knows how that went?!.
We had a brief demonstration of what to do and then everyone got stuck in: Wiring, snipping, arranging in good company. There were plenty of refreshments to keep us all going, and plenty of good conversation and laughter too.
Half way through our time we heard from Lara Buchannan, who spoke to us about the real meaning of Christmas. We love all the Christmas fun, but the real peace and joy is only found in Jesus.
Lara offered a number of Christmassy books about Jesus and we still have a range of books available if you’d like to find out more.
