We have two lovely Connections Spring Specials in March and April.
Our weekly Connections coffee morning is always lovely. It’s open every Friday morning in term time 9:30-11:30 for tea, coffee, toast, home-made cakes etc.
There’s even a children’s story time at 10:30.
On March 27, we had our Easter Crafts morning. All materials were provided to make some lovely tea-light holders and storage jars.
Then on April 17, we had Glyn Thursfield with us to provide all manner of gardening tips and help. He gave us a lovely tour of the church garden and showed us how to take and nurture cuttings. Glyn also gave advice for some of our brought-in problem plants. Best of all, he told us a bit about his faith and love of God.
As an extra special touch, we planted a tree in memory of our dear friend, Tony Haydn.
