*ROADMAP UPDATED JULY 2021*
The Government has lifted almost all legal restrictions in England relating to the Covid pandemic. That means local businesses and church leaders need to be careful to follow the relevant guidance and then apply it according to local conditions.
We intend to move forward cautiously with our own church roadmap.
All our plans will be subject to any changes the Government makes in the overall schedule. So we’ll keep this page updated with the latest plans when we can.
Sunday services are held at the church building at 10:30 and 4:30.
We have resumed singing – which we’re delighted about! Singing isn’t without risk given the nature of Covid transmission, so we’re continuing with providing hand sanitiser, maintaining good ventilation, and keeping distance between seats. Face masks are still recommended but not required.
For anyone unable to be at the building due to ill health or self-isolation, we continue to stream both Sunday Services on our Sunday page.
Tuesday prayer meetings will continue on Zoom at 7:30pm, with no plans to return to in-person. The reason for this is that we’ve been able to include participants in all sorts of situations: People in hospital, parents putting youngsters to bed, workers arriving home late, etc.
We hope that Thursday prayer meetings might be able to resume in the Summer.
Our stay-and-play Tots group resumed in the Spring with and we’re looking forward to fully reopening in September.
Our wonderful Knit2TOG group will be restarting on 9th August. It will then continue on the second Monday of every month.
We have plans in place for all other activities but as they’re not imminent we’ll communicate them a little nearer the time (rather than change dates if the Government roadmap moves!).
