In June we held a toy sale for Ukraine. We’ve all been shocked and dismayed at what we’ve seen happening to beautiful Ukraine. We’ve all wondered what we can do.
We had a small surplus of toys and we know that many people do too. So we were delighted to hold a toy sale raising money for Ukraine. £265.25 was raised at Tots and Connections and passed straight to the Slavic Gospel Association.
The money then goes straight to churches working directly in the region. Many organisations send resources to the area by lorry but SGA’s action is slightly different. They’ve been working with churches in Ukraine, Poland and many other eastern European countries for decades. Right now they’re helping people in the most affected areas buying fuel, food, and other critical items for life.
Thank you to everyone who donated toys and cash. If you pray, please pray for peace in Ukraine.
