Woodslee Nativity & Carol Service

Cover for Woodslee Nativity and Carol Service

It’s a thrill for us once again to host the Woodslee Nativity and Carol Service.

Every year, the school’s Year 5 group perform the musical nativity called “Looking for an Infant King”. Our community collaboration with Co-op Academy Woodslee is something we cherish and it’s always a joy to have Year 5 and their families with us.

The children sing through the Nativity story, with Bible readings that carry us all along with them.

The format of the service is:

  • Introduction & welcome
  • Everyone stands to sing our first Christmas carol
  • The children perform Looking for an Infant King
  • Then we sing our second Christmas carol together
  • Darren Jones (our pastor) shares some thoughts on the meaning of Christmas
  • Then we finish with a third traditional carol

Naturally, there are plenty of festive refreshments and mince pies to enjoy afterwards.

When? Sunday 15th December, 4:30pm.

Where? Bromborough Evangelical Church (directions).

To hear the songs (or practice them), they’re in the video below:
