Harvest Service

Our Harvest Service was one to remember as we reflected on God’s goodness over the past 18 months or so and gave thanks for his many blessings.

We also remembered and gave thanks for friends we have loved and lost.

We looked at Psalm 111 which describes God as a God of grace from A to Z. Then we looked at Psalm 112, describing the godly person as someone who trusts in God and has no fear of bad news. Both psalms are hugely helpful in the light of what we’ve all been through.

If you’d like to see the service again you can view it directly on YouTube. In particular, we sang a song written specifically for us to help us think through and reflect on what has happened to us as a church.

The collection for the weekend will be going to Leeds-based charity, Caring For Life.

Appropriately enough, the service was followed by a light tea. As ever, we took appropriate measures to remain Covid-safe.
